While common, it shouldn’t be normalized.  Pelvic floor therapy can address incontinence, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, painful bowel and bladder movements, and hip and back pain, which may also be related to underlying pelvic floor dysfunctions. Pelvic floor therapy is more than just addressing bladder health – it supports your core, stability, and overall well-being.  Helps with:  postpartum recovery, core weakness or instability, urinary leakage or urgency, pain with daily activities, and exercise. – Helping you move with confidence again!

Wellness and Recovery Tools

You don’t have to wait until you’re injured to benefit from physical therapy. Our wellness visits are designed for people who want to stay active, prevent pain, and keep moving for years to come. Great for active adults wanting to prevent injuries, people managing long-term conditions, and anyone looking to move, feel, and live better by optimizing health and movement. Proactive care for staying active, strong, and pain-free.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy

PEMF therapy uses gentle electromagnetic waves to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and promote natural healing.  During a session, you simply relax on the mat while your body does the work of restoring balance. Benefits may include:  improved circulation, reduced inflammation and stiffness, faster recovery from injury or activity, enhanced energy, and overall wellness.

Red Light Therapy

Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment using low-level red light to stimulate natural healing in the body. It’s painless, relaxing, and effective for reducing inflammation and supporting recovery. Commonly used for chronic pain management, joint stiffness, soft tissue healing, and enhancing recovery after activity.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a safe and effective technique that uses thin monofilament needles to assist in the release of tight musculature, reduce pain, and improve mobility. It can be especially helpful for people with chronic pain or stubborn muscle tension. Dry needling is often used in conjunction with electrical stimulation, which helps to increase the benefits and total area of the treatment. Benefits may include: decreased muscle pain and tightness, improved blood flow and healing, and restored mobility in stiff areas. TMJ, headaches and migraines, plantar fasciitis, low back pain, symptoms related to allergies, and scar mobility are just a few of the conditions that dry needling can help improve.

Counterstrain

Counterstrain therapy, also known as Strain-Counterstrain (SCS), is a gentle, hands-on technique used to relieve muscle spasms, pain, and dysfunction in the body. Tender points or areas of dysfunction are identified by the therapist and then the therapist passively moves the patient’s body into a position of ease, or “slack,” that is comfortable and shortens the restricted tissue. The technique relaxes protective muscle reflexes, restores normal blood flow, and alleviates pain. It treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, headaches, digestive issues, nerve pain, and swelling. Counterstrain therapy helps restore normal blood flow and lymphatic drainage, reducing pain and improving overall function. It treats the root cause of pain and dysfunction rather than just the symptoms.
